Infant Teacher (0–2 years) Position Summary:
Up to $500 monthly health stipend available for full time qualified ECE positions
Provides professional care and early learning support for infants and toddlers under the guidance of the Lead Infant Teacher. Ensures compliance with Title 22 and promotes safe, nurturing development. All employees are expected to support and reflect the Center’s Christian mission and values in ways that are appropriate for young children and consistent with California Community Care Licensing requirements.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist with planning and implementing age-appropriate activities.
- Supervise and interact with children at all times, maintaining safety and ratios.
- Support individual care routines (feeding, diapering, naps) according to children’s needs.
- Observe and document child development and communicate progress to Lead Teacher and parents.
- Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe classroom environment.
- Support behavior guidance under Lead Teacher supervision.
- Additional trainings as required.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds on a regular basis.
- Regularly sit on the floor or in child-sized chairs.
- Easily move between sitting on the floor and standing.
- Frequently bend, kneel, squat, stoop, and reach.
- Lift and carry children up to 40 pounds, as needed.
- Walk, stand, and actively supervise children indoors and outdoors throughout the day.
- Push, pull, and move classroom equipment and supplies.
- Respond quickly to children's needs and emergencies.
- Participate in active play and daily classroom activities.
- Maintain the vision, hearing, and communication skills needed to safely supervise children.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Completion of 12+ ECE/CD units including at least 3 infant units or higher Child Development Teacher Permit.
- Experience working with infants and toddlers in a licensed setting.
- Pediatric CPR & First Aid certification or enrollment in next available class; TB clearance; criminal background clearance.
Skills:

Preschool Teacher (2–6 years) Position Summary:

Provides professional teaching and care for preschool-aged children under the guidance of the Lead Preschool Teacher. Supports curriculum implementation and classroom management. All employees are expected to support and reflect the Center’s Christian mission and values in ways that are appropriate for young children and consistent with California Community Care Licensing requirements.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist Lead Teacher in planning and executing age-appropriate curriculum.
- Supervise children and ensure safety during all activities.
- Observe and document child development, supporting Lead Teacher in assessments.
- Assist in behavior guidance and fostering social-emotional growth.
- Assist with potty training and toileting
- Prepare classroom materials and maintain organized, clean, and safe indoor and outdoor space.
- Communicate with families regarding child progress.
- Additional trainings as required.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds on a regular basis.
