We're looking for a motivated, self-driven Industrial Scrap Metal Sales Representative to develop new business and build long-term relationships with industrial, manufacturing, demolition, and commercial accounts.
If you're an experienced salesperson who thrives on finding opportunities, closing deals, and controlling your own income, we'd like to talk with you.
Responsibilities
- Prospect and develop new industrial scrap metal accounts.
- Build relationships with manufacturers, fabricators, warehouses, and other commercial businesses.
- Identify opportunities to purchase ferrous and non-ferrous scrap metals.
- Negotiate pricing and close profitable transactions.
- Coordinate with operations to ensure smooth pickups and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain ongoing relationships to generate repeat business.
Compensation
Commission Only – 1099 Independent Contractor
You'll earn 50% of the net profit on every deal you close, after the cost of goods/materials and direct deal-related expenses are deducted.
This is a 1099 independent contractor position. You'll be responsible for your own business expenses, including mileage, phone, travel, and other operating costs.

- No cap on earnings
- Top performers can earn $150,000+ per year (based on performance)
- Weekly or agreed-upon commission payouts
Qualifications
- Sales experience preferred (scrap metal, recycling, industrial, manufacturing, construction, or B2B sales is a plus).
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
