You will work closely with partners while maintaining meaningful autonomy in managing your cases and clients.
Position Overview
We are seeking a litigation attorney with 6+ years of experience in commercial or business litigation.
First-chair trial experience is preferred, but not required.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage commercial litigation matters from intake through resolution
- Serve as primary point of contact for clients
- Develop case strategy and oversee execution
- Draft pleadings, motions, and legal briefs
- Handle discovery, including written discovery and depositions
- Prepare cases for mediation, arbitration, and trial
- Collaborate with partners on complex and high-value matters
Compensation
- Competitive base salary (DOE)
- Performance-based bonus
- Discretionary bonus tied to firm profitability
- Additional upside for business development and client origination
- Billable expectation: approximately 1,700 hours annually

Qualifications
- 6+ years of commercial or civil litigation experience
- Strong legal writing, analytical, and case management skills
- Ability to manage cases with minimal supervision
- Deposition and hearing experience required; trial experience preferred
- Interest in client development and contributing to firm growth
- Licensed in Texas (or eligible for admission)
Location Requirement
- Must reside in the Dallas–Fort Worth area with ability to attend court as needed
