Position Summary
The Shop Helper supports fabrication and production operations by assisting with material handling, part finishing, and maintaining a clean and organized shop environment. This is an entry-level position with opportunity for growth within the manufacturing team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
· Deburr and clean fabricated metal parts
· Perform material handling, including loading and unloading materials
· Assist operators and fabricators as needed
· Maintain shop cleanliness and organization
· Dispose of scrap material properly
· Follow all company safety procedures and policies
· Assist with general production support tasks as assigned
Qualifications
· Ability to read and accurately use a tape measure
· Good basic math skills (fractions, measurements)
· Ability to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis
· Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment
· Strong work ethic and reliability
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
· Manufacturing shop environment
· Standing for extended periods
· Frequent lifting up to 50 pounds
· Exposure to industrial equipment and noise
Pay: $17.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
