We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Certified Surgical Technician to join our dynamic surgical team. In this vital role, you will assist our surgeon and healthcare professionals during a wide range of surgical procedures, ensuring the highest standards of patient safety, infection control, and operational efficiency. This position offers an exciting role in plastic and reconstructive surgery.
Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms by sterilizing and organizing surgical instruments and equipment in accordance with aseptic techniques and infection control protocols. Assisting in management of ordering breast implants.
- Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments, closing with precise suturing, and handling surgical supplies with precision.
- Travel to Osage Beach and Columbia Missouri
Skills
- Proven experience assisting in plastic surgery.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and surgical procedures.
- Expertise in infection control practices such as aseptic technique and healthcare-associated infection prevention strategies.
- Ability to perform suturing techniques efficiently while maintaining patient safety; experience in treatment of fractures is a plus. Must have suturing skills for this position.
Pay: From $30.00 per hour
