We're looking for a caring, compassionate, experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Infection Preventionist who loves taking care of the elderly and prioritizes communication and engagement.
Requirements include:
- An active Registered Nurse license
- Long term care experience
- Knowledge of regulations and standards of nursing practice
- Good interdisciplinary communication
- Experience with NHSN and RIDOH reporting preferred
- Must currently have or obtain Long Term Care Certification in Infection Prevention ( LTC-CIP)
Responsibilities include:
- Effective direction, management and operations of the infection control program
- Educating staff on areas of infection control practices and prevention
- Reporting requirements
- Infection prevention
