PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Serve as the primary contact person and liaison between the principal and students, staff, parents, district personnel, and the general public.

Manage all school finances:
-
Includes in-depth knowledge of budgeting, purchasing, monitoring funds; managing District credit cards, and monthly reports;
-
Responsible for creating, assigning, and collecting student body funds and all aspects of Student Body Funds according to state regulations.
-
Answer telephones, provide information to callers, take messages, forward phone calls as appropriate, greet visitors to the building and provide information or directions.

Perform routine typing and/or word processing related to school functions.
-
Maintain office filing systems related to areas of responsibility.
-
Set up, file and sort a variety of documents, which include sensitive and confidential information.
-
Compose and type routine correspondence and reports and update lists.
-
Sort and distribute mail.
-
Complete beginning and end of year tasks.
-
Arrange substitutes for teachers and support staff as needed.
-
Monitor to/from school student transportation
-
Verify and submit timesheets.
-
Coordinate, prepare and assist in the preparation of agendas, notices, forms, equipment, and necessary material for meetings, family and staff events.
-
Assist with enrolling new students by providing the students and parents with appropriate information and documents, send for student records, set up file, add to class list, process cumulative files and notify staff for determination of placement.

Maintain accurate student records in the areas of responsibility.
-
Supervise students being sent to the office for discipline or other needs.
-
Perform a variety of duties using various types of office equipment.
-
Compile and complete the various student information directory records and reports required by the District and the State of Oregon.
-
Provide “nursing services” for students as needed when the District Nurse is not available, and use appropriate procedures.
-
Compile, format, and distribute student, staff and parent communications, calendars. meetings, and events.
-
Process and accurately input data for student registration, run student database systems and update schedules/records as needed.

Order and inventory all supplies

Assist parents and students as needed.
-
Compile, maintain and distribute various tasks to be completed at the beginning and end of the school year.

Perform other duties as assigned by the Board and/or administration.
ADDITIONAL CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS, BONDING, AND/OR TESTING REQUIRED:
Criminal Justice Fingerprint clearance.- Valid First Aid Card.
- Bloodborne Pathogen Training.
- Meds Training
- Documented completion of at least two (2) specialized technical courses or equivalent prior experience.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Significant physical abilities include lifting/carrying, reaching/handling, talking/hearing conversations, near/far visual acuity/depth perception/accommodation/field of vision.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Salary to be according to current salary schedule agreed upon in the Classified Collective Bargaining Agreement.
EVALUATION:
The performance of this job will be evaluated annually by the building principal.
