Job Overview
SBLM – Dallas Office - is seeking a qualified Architectural Project Manager
with 10 years plus of experience in the K-12 and Higher Education market. The candidate must also possess excellent leadership and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
· Coordinate and develop Construction Documents
· Resolve technically challenging building issues
· Perform building code and zoning analyses
· Review and redline drawings
· Oversee production as required by the project
· Organize and lead site visits and surveys
· Conduct material research; meet with vendors to become familiar with materials and products
Qualifications:
· A minimum of 10 years’ experience in K-12 and Higher Education and/or Healthcare market sectors.
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture or related field
· Must be proficient in current Document Technologies
· Must possess team leadership skills, excellent communication with staff, clients and contractors.
· Understand contracts and typical billing procedures.
· Possess onsite construction field experience.
· Strong understanding of structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering systems.
· Strong knowledge of Texas building, ADA codes and other applicable federal and industry standard guidelines.
