Job Summary
Pet-Vet Supply is a family run pet retail store, veterinary clinic and grooming salon that has been a staple in the community for 41 years. Pet-Vet is looking for a friendly person to serve our clients as well as the pets who are like family to them. In this way we continue to be that staple in our community and serve those around us.
Pet-Vet Animal Clinic is a small animal practice that has had consistent growth thanks to our loyal customers and our great employees. We work as an enthusiastic team to provide full service veterinary care, including wellness exams, yearly vaccinations, annual blood work, digital x-rays and surgeries.
Pet-Vet Animal Clinic's has two veterinarians Dr. Denise Fruitt and Dr. Stephanie Elliott. We are looking for a dedicated veterinarian assistant that has the ability to interact well with our clients, patients as well as our existing staff.
Working Conditions
Pet-Vet Animal Clinic is open Monday thru Saturday. This position is a 35-40 hour work week that includes some Saturdays. The schedule is flexible according to your need and the need of your peers. Overtime may occasionally be required.
Experience in veterinary medicine is preferred but all responsibilities can be taught and will be reinforced through practice.

Qualifications
- Veterinary experience, including animal handling and catheterization
- Proficiency in veterinary terminology and animal anatomy
- Strong communication skills for interacting with pet owners and veterinary team
- Ability to analyze vital signs and assist in veterinary procedures
- Familiarity with pet care and handling procedures
- Knowledge of X-Ray procedures and equipment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
