Innovative Driven is seeking a full-time Associate Attorney to join the team at a premier litigation firm client in NYC. This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive and dynamic team, working on diverse and challenging cases that foster both professional growth and personal development.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage your caseload from inception through resolution.
- Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
- Prepare for and attend depositions, hearings, and trials.
- Ensure compliance with court deadlines and scheduling requirements.
- Work closely with clients, experts, and attorneys to develop and execute effective litigation strategies.
- Conduct in-depth legal research, prepare strategic memoranda, and collaborate with partners and senior attorneys to ensure seamless case management.
- Prepare comprehensive written status reports for insurers.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school.
- Admission to the New York State Bar.
- Experience handling the defense of Transportation, Construction Litigation, and Tort Liability.
- Both plaintiff and defense-based experience.
- Prior ADR experience handling arbitrations and mediations.
- Ability to draft and argue dispositive motions and respond to discovery requests.
Pay: $140,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
