Operations Management Area Director
A well-established human services organization is seeking an experienced Operations Management Area Director to provide leadership and operational oversight for a designated service area supporting adults with diverse needs.
This is an opportunity for a hands-on leader who enjoys developing teams, building strong community relationships, and ensuring high-quality services. The Area Director will be responsible for both the day-to-day operations and overall performance of the assigned area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership, direction, and supervision to professional and direct-care staff
- Oversee daily operations and ensure quality, person-centered services
- Manage financial performance, including budgeting, purchasing, billing compliance, and documentation
- Support growth strategies, census development, utilization, and occupancy
- Build and maintain strong relationships with individuals served, families, guardians, case managers, referral sources, and community partners
- Participate in community and government relations and advocate for the individuals served
- Develop and implement strategies that promote quality, stability, and positive outcomes
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and 3–6 years of related experience, including significant management experience in human services
- Master’s degree in Human Services or a related field preferred, where applicable
- Licensure as required by the state
- Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail
- Demonstrated commitment to quality and person-centered services

Pay: $62,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
