About the Role
We are seeking a passionate, creative, and energetic Preschool Math Teacher to join our growing team. This role is ideal for an educator who loves working with young children and has a gift for making math fun, engaging, and developmentally appropriate. Our Math Teacher plays a key role in building strong early numeracy skills while nurturing confidence, curiosity, and a love for learning in our students.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement age-appropriate, engaging math lesson plans for children ages 2–5
- Introduce foundational math concepts such as counting, number recognition, patterns, shapes, sorting, and basic problem-solving through hands-on activities, games, and play-based learning
- Conduct student evaluations and progress assessments to track development and mastery of skills
- Prepare and lead Parent-Teacher Conferences to discuss student progress, strengths, and areas for growth
- Assign simple, developmentally appropriate homework or enrichment activities to reinforce classroom learning
- Differentiate instruction to meet the individual learning styles and developmental levels of each child
- Collaborate closely with classroom teachers and leadership to ensure curriculum alignment and continuity
- Maintain a warm, structured, and positive classroom environment that supports learning and emotional development
- Participate in school events, trainings, and professional development opportunities
Qualifications
- Experience working with preschool-aged children (ages 2–5) required
- Background in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, or a related field preferred
- Strong understanding of early childhood developmental milestones and learning styles
- Creative, enthusiastic, and nurturing teaching style
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially with parents and team members
- Organized, dependable, and professional

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
