Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain industrial automation equipment.
- Program, troubleshoot, and repair PLC systems using ladder logic (LD), ensuring optimal performance of manufacturing controls.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and schematics to diagnose system issues accurately.
- Configure human-machine interface (HMI) systems for efficient operator interaction with automated processes.
- Maintain industrial electrical systems and network connections within industrial networks to ensure reliable communication.
- Support lean manufacturing initiatives by optimizing tooling, machining processes, and automation workflows.
- Conduct routine inspections of industrial equipment, robotic systems, vision inspection systems, and distributed control systems to prevent downtime.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to develop new automation solutions using SolidWorks or similar CAD tools.
- Troubleshoot complex industrial controls issues through systematic analysis and engineering troubleshooting techniques.
- Document all maintenance activities, system modifications, and troubleshooting steps thoroughly.
Experience
- Proven experience working as an Automation Technician or in a similar industrial or manufacturing engineering role.
- Hands-on experience with programming in general.
- Strong knowledge of PLC programming languages such as ladder logic (LD) and experience with PLC troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with industrial networks, including Ethernet/IP or Profibus protocols.
- Solid understanding of industrial electrical systems, schematics reading, and interpretation.
- Experience installing and repairing PLC systems within manufacturing environments.
- Knowledge of vision inspection systems and their integration into automated processes.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Practical experience with mechanical knowledge related to tooling, machining, or mechanical assembly is a plus.
- Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles and CGMP standards is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in using SolidWorks or other CAD software for designing or modifying automation components.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to perform engineering troubleshooting efficiently.

Pay: $32.00 - $37.00 per hour
