Overview:
This is a unique offer to get real experience in cybersecurity. You'll be working real tickets, investigating real incidents, and contributing to real client security operations from day one. We're looking for someone who wants to get their hands dirty, learns quickly, and takes ownership of their work. If you're early in your career and serious about building a foundation in cybersecurity, this is the kind of experience that matters.
What you'll do:
- Monitor security alerts across client environments
- Investigate phishing emails, suspicious login events, and anomalous Microsoft 365 activity
- Assist with log review and alert triage under senior engineer guidance
- Help document findings, incident timelines, and remediation steps
- Support onboarding of new log sources and connector validation
- Research emerging threats and contribute to internal knowledge base
What we're looking for:
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in cybersecurity, IT, or a related field
- Solid IT fundamentals: networking, operating systems, and how systems talk to each other are the foundation everything else builds on
- Familiarity with core security concepts (CIA triad, common attack vectors, log basics)
- Exposure to Microsoft 365 or Azure environments is a plus
- Comfortable working independently
Nice to have:
- Hands-on experience with SIEM, EDR, phishing review
- CompTIA Security+ or similar in progress or completed
- Scripting basics (PowerShell, Batch, Python)
Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
