Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
This is a part time-position will the possibility to become full time.
Friday, Saturday and Sunday availability during the day is required for this position.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, hallways, and common areas to ensure high standards of cleanliness are maintained.
- Manage floor care including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing surfaces.
- Conduct laundry services as needed, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens.
- Restock supplies in guest rooms and common areas to ensure availability for guests.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Follow established cleaning protocols and procedures to maintain hygiene standards.
- Assist with special cleaning projects as required by management.
Skills
- Experience in hotel or hospitality environments is preferred.
- Knowledge of housekeeping management practices and procedures.
- Proficiency in floor care techniques and equipment operation.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify areas needing improvement.
- Familiarity with custodial duties and industrial cleaning methods is a plus.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork.
