Edge Dance & Performing Arts Center is looking for a high-energy, dependable, and enthusiastic Dance Teacher to join our team!
We're searching for someone who loves working with young children, enjoys creating fun and engaging classes, and is looking for a long-term opportunity with room to grow. We provide the curriculum and training, you bring the passion, positivity, and professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Teach dance classes for children ages 18 months–10 years using our established curriculum.
- Create a positive, structured, and engaging classroom environment.
- Build strong relationships with students and families.
- Maintain high levels of student engagement and help support student retention.
- Communicate professionally with parents and staff.
- Arrive prepared, on time, and ready to teach.
- Participate in recitals, performances, and studio events.
Qualifications
- Experience teaching dance or working with young children (dance, gymnastics, cheer, preschool, childcare, education, etc.).
- High-energy, reliable, and professional.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Comfortable following an established curriculum.
- Looking for a long-term position with opportunities to grow.
- Background check required.
Schedule
- Part-time
- Afternoon and evening availability Monday–Friday required.
- Weekend availability for performances, recitals, special events, and teacher training required.
