We are seeking a dependable, motivated Maintenance Technician / Make-Ready Technician to join our growing team. This position services a portfolio of apartments and condominium communities, performing preventative maintenance, unit turns, repairs, and exterior property maintenance. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in maintaining beautiful communities, and can work independently.
Responsibilities
- Complete apartment and condominium make-readies to prepare units for new residents.
- Perform preventative maintenance on buildings, equipment, and community amenities.
- Troubleshoot and repair wall/window air conditioning units.
- Perform minor plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, carpentry, and general repairs.
- Inspect properties regularly to identify maintenance needs before they become larger issues.
- Maintain the overall appearance of the community, including common areas and exterior grounds.
- Perform grounds maintenance, including debris removal, trimming, pressure washing, and general property cleanup.
- Inspect, maintain, and repair irrigation systems, including timers, valves, sprinkler heads, and basic troubleshooting.
- Replace locks, light fixtures, outlets, switches, blinds, hardware, and other building components as needed.
- Respond promptly and professionally to maintenance requests.
- Participate in an on-call rotation as required.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in apartment, condominium, property maintenance, or general maintenance required.
- Experience with preventative maintenance programs.
- Experience servicing wall/window AC units required.
- Knowledge of irrigation systems and exterior grounds maintenance preferred.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general building maintenance.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and solve problems efficiently.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must provide your own basic hand tools.
- HVAC certification is a plus but not required.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds or more frequently.
- Ability to bend, kneel, stoop, climb ladders, crawl, twist, and work overhead.
- Ability to work outdoors in Florida weather for extended periods.
- Must be able to stand and walk throughout the workday.

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
