Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Group Facilitator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading group therapy sessions, providing support and guidance to participants, and fostering a safe and inclusive environment for personal growth. This role is essential in helping individuals navigate their challenges through various therapeutic modalities.
Duties
- Lead and facilitate group therapy sessions, ensuring all participants feel heard and valued.
- Develop and implement therapeutic activities that promote healing and personal development.
- Utilize various therapeutic techniques including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Dance Therapy to engage participants.
- Conduct patient assessments to evaluate individual needs and progress within the group setting.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to create comprehensive treatment plans for participants.
- Maintain accurate documentation of group sessions, participant progress, and any relevant research findings.
- Provide addiction counseling as necessary, addressing the unique challenges faced by individuals in recovery.
- Stay informed about best practices in group therapy and contribute to clinical research initiatives when applicable.
Skills
- Proficiency in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Child Family Counseling is highly desirable.
- Strong skills in Patient Assessment to effectively evaluate participant needs.
- Experience working in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of Addiction Counseling techniques to support individuals facing substance use challenges.
- Familiarity with Dance Therapy as a therapeutic approach is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire participants through group dynamics.
- Research experience or interest in Clinical Research to enhance therapeutic practices within the group setting.
- Ability to create a supportive atmosphere that encourages open dialogue among participants.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $58,000.00 per year
