- We are looking to employ a qualified Preschool Teacher, who has a passion for instilling values in young children. The Teacher should possess high energy and the ability to handle the demands of babies and toddlers with different personalities and needs.To ensure success, the Teacher should display a gentle and nurturing personality, and the patience to assist each infant or child to mature cognitively. They should be able to assist in developing the infants’ and children's social skills as they interact with each other.Responsibilities for Preschool Teacher
- Provide a safe and loving environment for the child in his/her care
- Supervise child on the floor as they play with age appropriate toys
- Ensure play, sleep and changing areas are kept clean
- Must be able to work with 3 year olds.
Qualifications for Preschool Teacher
- 2 Years Experience
- Early Childhood Education: CDA
- Meet annual professional development requirements, per state regulations
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
- Caring individual who enjoys teaching young children
- Able to lift up to 30 pounds
- Extended periods of time sitting on the floor
- Reliable commute to the Child Care center
- Great customer service skills to communicate effectively with parents
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
