Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Basic repairs: Fixing minor plumbing leaks, replacing light bulbs, patching drywall, repairing minor electrical issues, replacing door hardware, and simple carpentry work.
- Preventative maintenance: Performing routine inspections on HVAC systems, checking fire alarms, lubricating machinery, cleaning drains, and monitoring building systems for potential issues.
- Work order management: Responding to maintenance requests, identifying issues, and completing assigned work orders within set time frames.
- Cleaning and upkeep: Maintaining general cleanliness of common areas, including sweeping floors, removing trash, and wiping down surfaces.
- Grounds maintenance: Basic landscaping tasks like trimming hedges, removing debris and snow removal.
- Inventory management: Maintaining proper stock levels of maintenance supplies and tools.
- Safety compliance: Adhering to Hilcorp’s safety protocols and reporting potential hazards.
Qualifications:
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, other departments, officials, and the public.
- Ability to complete multiple, diverse tasks of differing priorities without close supervision.
- Valid Driver’s License and driving record free of violations for company to secure automobile insurance for the employee.
- Strong understanding of preventative and predictive maintenance programs, facility and equipment maintenance practices
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs., climb a ladder, twist, crawl, and jump.
- Strong customer and people skills are essential.
Education Requirements:
- Graduation from a high school or GED equivalent or any equivalent combination of education and experience demonstrating sufficient knowledge, ability, and skill to handle the duties and responsibilities of the position.
Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
