The City of Bennettsville has an opening for a Fire Engineer. Applicant must be at least 18 years of age. Applicant should have any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school and have at least two year’s fire service experience. Applicant will respond to emergency fire related situations.
Applicant must have the following certifications:
IFSAC/Pro-Board (NFA) Firefighter II, Hazardous Materials Operations, Technical Rescuer, EVDT-Emergency Vehicle Driver Training, Pump OPS I and II, Aerial OPS, NIMS-ICS – ICS-100, ICS-200, ICS-300, ICS-400, ICS-700, and ICS-800, DMICO – Decision Making for Initial Company OPS, PICO – Preparation for Initial Company OPS, STICO – Strategy and Tactics for Initial Company OPS, Emergency Medical Responder or equivalent, and a valid, S.C. Driver’s License (SC Class E).
Applicant will be required to successfully complete a physical agility test.
