Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various types of truck driving, including but not limited to tractor-trailer, flatbed, and pneumatic tank. This role involves transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. A strong commitment to safety and customer service is essential. Percentage based pay which is based on experience and not limited to $60,000-$80,000
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, tankers.
- Load and unload freight as required, ensuring proper handling of materials.
- Plan routes effectively to ensure timely deliveries while adhering to regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel use, and other necessary documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status.
- Follow all safety protocols while driving and during loading/unloading processes
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Familiarity with operating flatbeds and tankers is a plus.
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar truck driving role.
- Ability to lift heavy loads (up to 50 pounds) as needed during loading/unloading.
- Strong knowledge of route driving and navigation skills.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
