We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Immigration Law Attorney to join our legal team. Duties
- Advise clients on immigration options, including visas, green cards, asylum, and deportation defense, ensuring they understand their rights and legal pathways.
- Prepare, review, and file immigration petitions, applications, and supporting documentation accurately and efficiently.
- Conduct legal research using tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to stay current on immigration laws, policies, and procedural updates.
- Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings, interviews, and depositions, advocating effectively on their behalf.
- Draft legal documents, motions, and briefs with precision, ensuring clarity and adherence to procedural law standards.
- Manage case files using legal case management systems, maintaining meticulous records of all client interactions and case developments.
- Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates, gather necessary information, and offer compassionate legal counsel during stressful situations.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and admission to the state bar.
- Proven experience in immigration law with a strong understanding of statutory legal research and procedural law knowledge.
- Demonstrated expertise in legal negotiation, client communication, and legal advocacy.
- Familiarity with immigration-related areas such as family law, employment law, and asylum procedures is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in legal research platforms including LexisNexis and Westlaw; experience with legal motion preparation and trial support preferred.
- Strong writing skills for drafting petitions, motions, and legal correspondence; ability to prepare for court depositions and trial proceedings.
- Excellent organizational skills with experience managing multiple cases simultaneously within a law office environment.
- Knowledge of relevant laws including estate planning, environmental law, landlord-tenant law, securities law, workers’ compensation law, tribal law & regulations, patent law, personal injury law, employment law case experience, and general & commercial litigation is a plus.

Pay: $78,496.23 - $100,000.00 per year
