Foothills (Ellenboro) at Red Oak Recovery serves adult male clients in a residential treatment setting. Our program is located on a 94-acres designed to help promote growth, reflection, and healing for those experiencing the results of trauma. Our licensed clinical team and extensive range of therapies provide the support, and education clients need to put themselves back on the right path.
We are seeking a Part Time Housekeeper for our Foothills campus to help provide clean, sanitary, comfortable, orderly and satisfying surroundings for the clients, employees, and public. The Housekeeper promotes sanitary conditions which prevent the spread of infection and odors.
Responsibilities

Ensuring the cleanliness of the facilities

Operating various mechanized cleaning equipment, such as vacuums, polishers, buffers, etc.

Maintaining facility in a sanitary and infection-free condition through washing, cleaning and replacement of equipment and furnishings

Disposing of trash, waste, and other disposable materials
-
Handling various cleaning solvents, chemicals, etc. and complying with all regulations such as OSHA, EPA, State Health Department, etc.

Planning work schedule for major tasks

Damp dusting furniture, light fixtures, windowsills, etc.

Emptying trash containers
-
Wet mopping floors in all residents’ rooms and bathrooms

Damp mopping all corridor floors, lobby, dining areas, etc.

Cleaning basins, mirrors, commodes, tubs, and showers
-
Cleaning all air vents
-
Reporting any needed repairs immediately to supervisor (such as leaky faucets or toilets, loose tile, broken windowpanes, missing nuts or screws, beds needing repair, etc.)

Washing windows as scheduled

Following instructions on use of germicidal solutions to clean

Using safety precautions in all housekeeping services

Completing additional related cleaning duties as directed by supervisor
Minimum Qualifications

Minimum HS Diploma or equivalent
-
Working knowledge of cleaning procedures, supplies, equipment

Experience in commercial cleaning

Ability to lift 20 pounds
