St. Louis School, located in Clarksville, Maryland, is seeking a part-time Cafeteria Worker for the 2026–2027 academic school year. The Cafeteria Worker is responsible for assisting with the preparation and service of nutritious meals to students in a safe and welcoming environment. Duties include meal preparation, serving food, operating within established food safety guidelines, and cleaning dining and kitchen areas following meal service.
- Communicate directly with back of the house staff, to ensure that all reasonable special requests are addressed and accommodated.
- Maintain a high level of sensitivity and confidentiality regarding any personal or medical information that is shared.
- Preparation and serving of Breakfast and Lunch meals.
- Cleans and sanitizes equipment and work areas including the kitchen floor, refrigerators, freezers, and storage areas.
- Follows established Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) procedures and food safety standards.
- Assists with maintaining records such as production sheets and HACCP logs.
- Properly stores food and supplies.
Position Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to read and interpret written recipes and work instructions.
- Must be able to demonstrate flexibility and patience while working with both customers and co-workers.
- Represents in a courteous, efficient, and friendly manner in all customer and employee interactions.
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
- Follows SBS and OSHA safety standards, wearing all personal protective gear.
- Duties require frequent lifting and carrying objects up to 40lbs., the ability to stand, bend, kneel, and do steps on a regular basis.
- ServSafe Certification training is available.
- Some computer skills.
Pay Range: $20.00, Hourly
