Job Title: Behavior Technician (BT)
Job Summary:
Imagination ABA Therapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technician (BT or RBT) to join our team in Clinton, New Jersey. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with our Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to provide high-quality, individualized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy services to children and families affected by Autism Spectrum Disorder and related developmental needs.
Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one ABA therapy sessions to clients in their natural environments, such as homes, schools, and communities
Collect and record data on client behavior and progress, using standardized assessment tools and strategies
Implement treatment plans designed by BCBAs, including skill-building activities, social skills training, and behavioral interventions
Develop and maintain relationships with clients, families, and other professionals to ensure effective collaboration and communication
Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge
Requirements:
RBT certification preferred but not required
High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or associate's degree preferred
Experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and/or related developmental needs
Strong communication, observation, and data collection skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
Flexibility to work part-time hours, including evenings and weekends
