Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize all dishes, utensils, pots, and pans used in food preparation and service.
- Operate dishwashing machines efficiently while adhering to safety and sanitation standards.
- Assist kitchen staff by bussing tables and cleaning dining areas as needed.
- Help cooks with food preparation tasks when necessary, contributing to a smooth workflow in the kitchen.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including floors, counters, and equipment.
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations.
- Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to management promptly.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of basic culinary practices is a plus, including familiarity with catering operations.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a willingness to help others in the kitchen.
