We partner with leading construction and industrial employers to help them build strong, reliable teams. We are currently seeking Carpenter Helpers for temporary assignments in the Portland metro area.
These roles offer hands-on experience across a variety of construction projects and are ideal for individuals looking to grow their skills in the trades.
Carpenter Helper Responsibilities:
As a Carpenter Helper, you may be responsible for assisting with a variety of tasks, including:
- Site preparation and demolition
- Framing and structural support work
- Drywall and sheetrock installation
- Cabinet fabrication and installation
- Window and door framing
- Stair construction and customization
- Installation of crown molding and baseboards
- General job site cleanup and material handling
- Supporting lead carpenters and other trades as needed
Carpenter Helper Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of construction experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Own a tool bag with basic hand tools
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel to various job sites
- Must have and wear appropriate work boots
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Compensation & Benefits
- $24–$26 per hour, depending on experience
