Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced, engaging, and highly organized private educator to partner with a family in Parkland, Florida, supporting two elementary-aged students in a fully customized homeschool environment.
This role is about much more than teaching lessons. You will take ownership of designing and implementing a personalized educational experience that helps each child grow academically while building confidence, independence, and a lifelong love of learning. The family is looking for an educator who combines warmth with professionalism—someone who is proactive, prepared, and energized by the opportunity to create an exceptional learning experience tailored to two unique learners.
The ideal candidate is a strong, bilingual (English/Spanish) communicator, an exceptional planner, and a self-starter who takes initiative without waiting for direction. Student Profiles
You will work closely with two students whose strengths and needs require thoughtful differentiation and individualized instruction.
Student #1-is a bright fourth-grade student with Asperger's, dyslexia, and dysgraphia. He performs well academically and benefits from structured instruction, individualized support, and an educator who can help him continue building confidence and social skills while maintaining high academic expectations.
Student #2- is a second-grade student who consistently performs above grade level and enjoys learning. She benefits from acceleration, enrichment, and opportunities to explore concepts in greater depth.
The family values academic excellence, character development, faith, and strong relationships. They are seeking an educator who can create an active, engaging learning environment while serving as a trusted long-term educational partner.
What You'll Do
- Design and deliver personalized instruction across all core academic subjects
- Develop and implement customized curriculum aligned with each student's learning profile, strengths, and goals
- Accelerate learning for advanced academic growth while providing targeted support where needed
- Differentiate instruction between two students with distinct educational needs
- Support literacy development using evidence-based strategies for dyslexia and dysgraphia
- Create active, engaging learning experiences that foster curiosity, confidence, and independence
- Establish systems, routines, and structures that support executive functioning and academic success
- Track student progress and adjust instruction based on ongoing assessment and observation
- Communicate proactively with parents regarding progress, challenges, and recommendations
- Manage educational planning, materials, scheduling, and day-to-day academic logistics
- Travel with the family approximately three times per year, including international travel
What Makes Someone Successful
- You are fluent in Spanish; native Spanish speakers are strongly preferred
- You are an experienced educator with a track record of creating meaningful academic growth
- You have experience working with children with ASD and have proven strategies and methods for redirecting behavior and regulating emotions.
- You are exceptionally organized and demonstrate strong executive functioning
- You are proactive, prepared, and consistently follow through on commitments
- You communicate clearly, professionally, and thoughtfully with parents
- You take initiative and operate with a high degree of ownership and accountability
- You can balance structure and expectations with warmth, flexibility, and encouragement
- You are energetic, engaging, and capable of creating dynamic learning experiences
- You are comfortable supporting students with learning differences while also accelerating advanced learners.

Logistics & Compensation
- Location: Parkland, Florida (in-home)
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, approximately 8:30 AM–3:30 PM
- Flexibility: Occasional enrichment days and periodic extension until approximately 4:30 PM
- Start Date: Hiring immediately for planning, curriculum development, and relationship-building prior to the academic year
- Academic Year Start: Late August
- Travel: Domestic and international travel approximately three times annually
- Compensation: $58,000–$90,000 annually, depending on experience, qualifications, Spanish language proficiency, and overall fit
