What You’ll Own
Catering Sales & Market Growth
- Drive Revenue: Deliver profitable business by selling weddings, social occasions, corporate gatherings, holiday parties, and other strategic functions.
- Business Development: Actively prospect, network, and engage with the community to capture new market share and cultivate repeat business.
- Innovative Offerings: Position El Tropicano as a premier San Antonio event destination by partnering with the culinary, operations, and marketing teams to create original client experiences.
Event Planning & Client Experience
- Primary Relationship Owner: Serve as the main point of contact throughout the planning process, translating the client's vision into an elevated, seamless experience.
- Detail Management: Ensure all event details, menus, and logistics are thoughtfully organized, documented, and communicated.
Leadership & Execution
- Cross-Functional Synergy: Partner closely with culinary, banquet, and operations teams to ensure flawless event execution and smooth sales-to-operations transitions.
- High-Profile Execution: Personally oversee key client touchpoints and high-profile events to guarantee premium service delivery.

Preferred Experience
- 3+ years of experience in catering sales, event management, or hospitality leadership (lifestyle hotels, resorts, or premium event venues preferred).
- Strong knowledge of the San Antonio market and local event community.
- Experience negotiating contracts and managing revenue goals.
- Proficiency with Delphi is a plus.
