Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable General Labor Helper to join our manufacturing team. In this dynamic role, you will support various production and warehouse operations, assisting skilled technicians and team members to ensure smooth and efficient manufacturing processes. Duties
- Assist with heavy lifting, manual handling, and moving materials within the production area or warehouse.
- Support assembly line operations by preparing parts, organizing supplies, and ensuring materials are readily available for production tasks.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and basic mechanical equipment under supervision to aid in mechanical assembly and maintenance tasks.
- Use forklift or other machinery (if certified) to transport materials safely across the facility.
- Interpret technical drawings or instructions to assist with assembly or manufacturing processes.
- Maintain safety standards in production by following safety protocols, using personal protective equipment, and reporting hazards promptly.
- Help with warehouse organization, inventory management, and ensuring a clean and safe work environment.
Experience
- Prior factory or manufacturing facility experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic mechanical knowledge is advantageous.
- Experience working on assembly lines or in a warehouse setting is highly desirable.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings or diagrams is a plus.
- Demonstrated understanding of safety standards in production environments is important.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting, manual handling, and stand for extended periods is essential.
- Previous experience operating forklifts (certified) or working with manufacturing management systems is beneficial.
