Duties
- Greet guests warmly, present menus, and provide expert recommendations to enhance their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems and ensuring timely delivery
- Serve food and drinks efficiently with a focus on presentation and customer satisfaction
- Process sales transactions accurately while upselling menu items like specialty drinks or desserts to maximize sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, handling food safely, and adhering to food safety protocols
- Assist with food preparation tasks when needed and support kitchen staff during busy periods
- Provide exceptional guest service by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and fostering positive guest relations
Requirements
- Previous food service or restaurant experience preferred
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to process cash transactions accurately while demonstrating basic math skills
- Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude and guest-focused approach
- Knowledge of food handling procedures, sanitation standards, and food safety regulations
- Experience with upselling techniques to increase sales while ensuring guest satisfaction
- Hospitality background with experience in serving, bussing, host/hostess duties, or cashiering is highly desirable
