Speech Therapist, Long Term Care Setting, per diem
POSITION PURPOSE: Administers Speech procedures upon medical prescription in accordance with Rehabilitation Department policy.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited college or university.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Two years of experience in a related setting is preferred.
PROFESSIONAL LICENSURE AND CERTIFICATION REQUIRED: Currently licensed to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist by the state of Massachusetts. SLP membership is encouraged.
INTERPERSONAL RELATIONSHIPS:
Communicates effectively with residents, families, visitors, co-workers, physicians, and other employees.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Physical health sufficient to meet the ergonomic standards and demands of the position and its location. Regular and consistent attendance at the facility is required.
