Surface Prep Technician

Our expertise in Engineering Material Coatings (EMC) allows global leading chip manufacturers and OEM equipment makers to achieve next generation technologies. We are seeking a driven, hands-on Surface Prep Technician to join our ever-growing company.
Your responsibilities include working with various hand tools, deburring machined parts, and cleaning components. We will provide hand on training for the skills require. Previous experience preferred but not required.
Minimum qualifications:
- Punctuality

- Access to reliable transportation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to follow work instructions and blueprints
- Annealing oven set up/function
- Wash bay functions
- Material Handling transport
- Quality inspection details (measure/photos)
Preferred Skills:
- Production or manufacturing experience
- Hand tool or sanding experience
- ERP software experience
Expectations:
- Basic math and measurement skills required
- Able to lift up to 35 lbs.
- Able to walk and stand most of the shift
- Able to fully reach with hands and arms; stoop, twist, kneel, and crouch
- Specific vision capabilities to include close-up, distance, color recognition, peripheral vision and able to adjust focus and have depth perception
