Duties
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting surfaces, vacuuming carpets, and replenishing amenities
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and dining spaces to uphold high standards of hygiene and presentation
- Perform floor care tasks including sweeping, mopping, waxing, and polishing to ensure all surfaces are spotless and well-maintained
- Handle laundry duties for linens, towels, and guest clothing with care and efficiency
- Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and continuous quality standards
- Follow safety protocols and proper cleaning procedures to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff
- Assist with inventory management by organizing cleaning supplies and equipment for optimal efficiency
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality housekeeping roles preferred
- Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including sweeping, mopping, waxing, and carpet cleaning
- Familiarity with hotel operations or experience in hospitality environments is highly advantageous
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
- Good physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks effectively
- Basic understanding of custodial procedures and safety guidelines related to industrial cleaning
- Bi-Lingual Spanish English
