Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and promptly, creating a positive first impression for all breakfast patrons
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system , ensuring efficient transaction processing
- Serve food and drinks with enthusiasm, while upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and sales
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols
- Assist with food handling and preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen staff and ensure timely service
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and fostering a welcoming atmosphere
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant roles, especially in fine dining or breakfast settings
- Knowledge of POS systems ; experience with cash handling and sales transaction processing is preferred
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent guest relations skills with a focus on hospitality and customer service excellence
- Basic math skills for billing accuracy and order accuracy
- Food safety certification or knowledge of sanitation standards is highly desirable
- Ability to work flexible hours during breakfast shifts, including weekends and holidays
