Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Construction Project Manager to lead and oversee complex construction projects from inception to completion. This role is vital in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. As a Construction Project Manager, you will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage schedules, and communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to drive project success. Your expertise in construction management software, project scheduling, and blueprint reading will be instrumental in navigating the challenges of large-scale construction initiatives.
Duties
- Lead the planning, execution, and closing of construction projects, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget.
- Develop detailed project schedules using Procore or similar project management tools to monitor progress and adjust plans proactively.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure seamless communication and workflow.
- Review blueprints, schematics, and contracts to verify project specifications and compliance with industry standards.
- Oversee construction site activities to ensure safety protocols are followed and work is completed according to design specifications.
- Utilize construction estimating tools such as HeavyBid for accurate cost forecasting and resource allocation.
- Manage project documentation using construction management software like Procore for efficient record-keeping and communication.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality control, and adherence to schedules.
- Facilitate project meetings to align team efforts, resolve issues promptly, and keep stakeholders informed.
- Ensure all work complies with local building codes, permits, and regulatory requirements.
Experience
- Proven experience in construction management with a strong background in interior construction or related fields.
- Extensive site experience in commercial construction projects.
- Proficiency in project scheduling software such as Microsoft Project.
- Skilled in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and contract management.
- Familiarity with construction estimating processes.
- Hands-on experience with construction management software including Procore.
- Strong understanding of contracts, safety regulations, and quality assurance protocols on construction sites.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
