IcyBox is looking for a General Marketing Manager to own the marketing operation that fuels a fast-moving, high-growth consumer business. This is a high-impact, execution-focused role for someone who thrives in ambiguity, moves fast, and knows how to run a marketing calendar with real craft across a complex, fast-changing organization. You'll be the connective tissue between brand, growth, and product, owning the campaigns, copy, and content that turn a strong strategy into consistent output.
You'll help build the marketing foundation that lets IcyBox scale from a fast-moving watch commerce and mystery box business into a durable consumer brand. This role is ideal for someone who is creatively sharp, operationally strong, and energized by being close to the center of the business. You'll get exposure to strategic decisions, company-building problems, and cross-functional execution from day one, with the autonomy to take a strategy with strong bones already in place and run it like an owner.
This is not a purely execution role. It's a builder/operator role for someone who can move from an email A/B test to a paid ad brief to a launch calendar without losing momentum. Some days you'll be writing copy. Some days you'll be untangling why a campaign underperformed. Some days you'll be building a system that makes the whole marketing engine sharper every week after you're done.
Draft, design, schedule, and A/B test email campaigns in collaboration with our design team.
Tell IcyBox's brand story across TikTok, Instagram, and other channels using assets from our creative team and creator content.
Work with our agency and partners to build and manage a paid acquisition strategy across paid social and search.
Monitor CAC, ROAS, and funnel performance, and adjust spend and creative accordingly.
Build out product and marketplace pages with customer-focused copy that improves organic search rankings.
Maintain a consistent, on-brand voice across web copy, emails, and social.
Bring new Icebox drops and product launches into email and social with clear, well-timed campaigns.
Coordinate launch timing with Product and Ops around inventory availability.
Serve as the connective tissue between brand storytelling and performance marketing, keeping both moving in the same direction.
Support ad hoc videography or photography needs, especially for unboxing-style product and campaign assets.
Create documentation, briefs, and operating playbooks that make repeatable marketing work easier as IcyBox scales.
Strong experience owning marketing campaigns end-to-end across email, paid, organic social, and SEO, ideally with startup or high-growth consumer exposure.
A track record of taking a strategy with strong foundations and running it with real autonomy, without needing a detailed playbook.
Strong copywriting instincts and comfort briefing creative or design resources.
Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to translate performance data into clear next steps.
High ownership and strong follow-through: you're the person who makes sure every launch gets the attention it deserves, on time.
Low ego and strong relationship instincts. You influence through clarity, trust, and execution rather than title.
Strong organizational systems and attention to detail, especially across multiple channels and campaigns running at once.
Comfort operating in a fast-moving environment where priorities shift and the answer isn't always obvious.
Genuine curiosity about consumer brands, watches, marketplaces, and how a high-growth company actually builds an audience.
Willingness to do both strategic and unglamorous work, from building a campaign calendar to formatting an email footer.
Experience at a high-growth startup or consumer company.
Experience with e-commerce, marketplaces, luxury goods, watches, collectibles, or consumer apps.
Familiarity with marketing and operating tools like email platforms, ad managers, SEO tools, or lightweight automation.
Videography or photography skills for hands-on content creation.
IcyBox is moving quickly across product, marketing, operations, sourcing, fulfillment, and customer experience, and marketing is often the first and most frequent touchpoint a customer has with the brand. The General Marketing Manager will help create the consistency, craft, and pace that let the team stay in front of customers without ever feeling like just another promo. This person will be trusted with high-priority work, exposed to the full business, and expected to make IcyBox's marketing engine stronger every single week.
Compensation Range: $120K - $160K
