Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble food items quickly and accurately according to established standards, ensuring quality and safety.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions efficiently while handling cash and card payments with precision.
- Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen surfaces in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Assist with food handling duties including bussing tables, restocking supplies, and ensuring proper food storage practices.
- Support team members in food preparation tasks such as chopping ingredients or assembling menu items to meet quick service demands.
- Uphold all health and safety standards related to food industry regulations, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or quick service restaurants is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math understanding, and order accuracy are essential.
- Strong time management skills to handle high-volume periods efficiently.
- Experience in customer service roles that involve serving guests or retail environments such as grocery stores or cafés is advantageous.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices within the food industry will support your success in this role.

Pay: $11.50 - $17.00 per hour
