MEP BIM Modeler/MEP Designer
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled MEP BIM Modeler/Designer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and managing detailed MEP models using BIM software, ensuring that all designs meet the necessary codes and standards. This position plays a critical role in the preconstruction phase, collaborating with various stakeholders to deliver high-quality designs for commercial projects.
Key Responsibilities

Develop detailed MEP models using Revit and AutoCAD software.

Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure designs meet project specifications and building codes.

Create and maintain accurate documentation for all designs and revisions.

Perform clash detection and resolve conflicts within the MEP systems.

Assist in the preparation of construction drawings and specifications.

Support the preconstruction team with accurate quantity take-offs and cost estimates.

Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and building codes to ensure compliance.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or related field.

Proven experience in MEP design and modeling, preferably in a commercial setting.

Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations.

Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and BIM software.

Experience with ductwork and piping design.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
