We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Cook to join our culinary team. Part- Time: FRIDAY and SATURDAY.
Duties
- Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook nutritious and appealing meals for residents, adhering to dietary requirements and preferences.
- Ensure that kitchen cleanliness and safety standards are maintained at all times.
- Collaborate with the dietary team to plan menus and assess the nutritional needs of residents.
- Assist in ordering and inventory management of kitchen supplies.
- Participate in resident events and meal service as needed.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations.
- Culinary skills with experience in various cooking techniques and methods.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Experience with menu planning and dietary considerations is a plus.
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment, including knives, ovens, grills, and fryers.
- Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork within the kitchen staff.
