Responsibilities
- Operate packaging machinery and hand tools to assemble and prepare products for shipment according to specifications.
- Ensure all packaging processes adhere to FDA regulations and CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice) standards to maintain product integrity and safety.
- Use forklifts and warehouse equipment safely to move raw materials and finished goods within the facility.
- Conduct routine inspections of packaging lines, verifying proper operation of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) that automate various packaging tasks.
- Assist with assembly tasks, including labeling, boxing, and palletizing products for distribution.
- Maintain accurate documentation of packaging activities, including batch records and quality checks.
- Support manufacturing teams by troubleshooting mechanical issues with packaging equipment using basic mechanical knowledge and hand tools.
Skills
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes with experience in packaging or assembly environments.
- Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) used in automated packaging systems.
- Familiarity with FDA regulations and CGMP guidelines relevant to pharmaceutical or food manufacturing.
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to operate hand tools effectively.
- Experience operating forklifts and working within warehouse settings safely.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational skills with a focus on accuracy and quality assurance.
