We are seeking reliable and safety-conscious individuals to join our shop team. This role involves operating woodworking equipment to cut lumber accurately and efficiently for production needs. Key Responsibilities:
- Operate radial arm saws and table saws for both ripping and crosscutting operations.
- Measure and mark lumber according to specifications.
- Ensure proper setup and safe operation of all saws.
- Inspect wood for defects and maintain quality standards.
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Assist with material handling and inventory as needed.
- Prior experience with woodworking equipment preferred (radial arm and table saws).
- Ability to read and interpret measurements accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Physical ability to lift and move lumber as required.
- Reliable and punctual with a positive work attitude.
