Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Security Guard to join our team. As a Security Guard, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our visitors and employees.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular patrols to ensure the security of the premises
- Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems
- Respond promptly to alarms and investigate disturbances
- Provide assistance to customers, employees, and visitors in a professional and courteous manner
- Enforce company policies and procedures to maintain order and safety
- Perform access control duties, including checking identification and verifying credentials
- Report any suspicious activities or incidents to the appropriate authorities
- Complete detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records
Experience:
- Previous experience in security, preferred
- Possession of a valid Guard Card
- Knowledge of CCTV systems and other security equipment is advantageous
- Familiarity with loss prevention techniques is a plus
- First aid, CPR, and conflict management training are beneficial
Skills:
- Strong surveillance skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle emergency situations effectively
- Proficient in using security equipment and technology
Pay: $17.00 - $17.50 per hour
