Position Summary
Caduceus Occupational Medicine is expanding its Tele-PT program nationally and is seeking licensed Physical Therapists who are comfortable delivering high-quality virtual physical therapy through a secure telemedicine platform.
This role is ideal for a Physical Therapist with strong clinical judgment, excellent patient communication skills, and active licensure in multiple states. This is a remote, flexible, per-visit contractor opportunity.
About Caduceus Tele-PT
Caduceus Tele-PT allows injured employees and patients to complete physical therapy visits virtually through the Caduceus TeleMed platform. Patients are scheduled based on therapist availability, state licensure, and clinical appropriateness.
Our Tele-PT model is designed to improve access, reduce scheduling and transportation barriers, support continuity of care, and help patients remain engaged in their recovery plan.
We are looking for Physical Therapists who can:
- Provide confident virtual assessments and treatment sessions
- Communicate clearly with patients through video-based care
- Guide safe movement, exercise, and home-based rehabilitation
- Document thoroughly and timely in the EMR/TeleMed platform
- Support workers’ compensation and occupational medicine patients
- Maintain compliance with state licensure, telehealth, HIPAA, and documentation standards
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Care & Tele-PT Delivery
- Conduct virtual physical therapy evaluations and follow-up visits for appropriate musculoskeletal and occupational injuries
- Assess patient movement, pain response, functional limitations, mobility, strength, and tolerance through video-based care
- Develop and progress individualized treatment plans and home exercise programs
- Provide patient education on safe movement, exercise technique, posture, body mechanics, ergonomics, and return-to-work expectations
- Identify when a patient may require in-person therapy, provider follow-up, urgent escalation, or additional clinical review
- Support functional recovery and safe return-to-work outcomes
Documentation & Compliance
- Complete all required documentation in the Caduceus TeleMed platform and/or EMR
- Document subjective, objective, assessment, and plan information clearly
- Enter follow-up recommendations, frequency/duration, work-status information, and visit details as required
- Maintain accurate records for visit completion, billing, payroll validation, and clinical continuity
- Follow HIPAA, telehealth privacy standards, state licensure rules, and company documentation protocols
Collaboration
- Work with Caduceus providers, Tele-PT admin team, PT admin, care coordinators, and leadership to support patient care
- Coordinate with internal staff when there are questions about referrals, authorization, scheduling, or patient access
- Help strengthen the Tele-PT program as Caduceus expands nationally
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Physical Therapist in good standing
- DPT, MPT, or equivalent Physical Therapy degree
- Active Georgia PT license
- Active, unrestricted PT license in at least one U.S. state
- Ability to practice in accordance with applicable state telehealth and physical therapy laws
- Reliable internet connection and private professional workspace
- Ability to use video-based telehealth platforms, EMR systems, and scheduling tools
- Strong written documentation skills
- Excellent patient communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Multiple active state PT licenses
- PT Compact privileges or eligibility
- Active licenses outside compact states
- Workers’ compensation experience
- Occupational medicine or industrial rehab experience
- Orthopedic/MSK experience
- Telehealth or Tele-PT experience
- Experience with home exercise program instruction and patient engagement
- Spanish-speaking preferred but not required
Compensation
This is a per-visit contractor role.
Current contractor visit rates based on:
- Tele-PT initial evaluations
- Follow-up Tele-PT visits
Schedule
- Remote / telehealth
- Flexible availability
- Visits scheduled based on therapist availability, patient need, and state licensure
- Additional opportunities may become available as Tele-PT expands nationally
Work Environment
This is a remote position. The therapist must maintain a private, professional workspace suitable for confidential patient care. The therapist must have reliable internet, camera, microphone, and device access for video-based visits.

Licenses/Certifications:
Physical Therapy License required.

Pay: $55.00 - $70.00 per hour
