Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Lead Teacher to inspire young learners and foster a nurturing, engaging classroom environment. Responsibilities
- Design and implement dynamic, developmentally appropriate lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, physical education.
- Foster a positive classroom atmosphere that promotes social-emotional growth, behavior management, and inclusive learning experiences for children of diverse backgrounds.
- Monitor and assess each child's progress through observations, standardized testing where applicable, and ongoing documentation to tailor instruction effectively
- Collaborate with families to communicate children's progress, address concerns, and support their involvement in the learning process
- Manage classroom routines efficiently to ensure safety, engagement, and smooth transitions throughout the day
- Incorporate special education strategies and early intervention techniques to support children with additional needs or developmental delays
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages exploration while adhering to health and safety regulations
Skills
- High School Diploma or GED and must be willing to obtain CDA.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education
- Proven experience in classroom management and behavior management techniques for preschool-aged children
- Strong curriculum development skills across multiple domains including literacy education, math, physical education, and childcare fundamentals
- Ability to work effectively with children from toddlers through preschool age groups; experience with daycare or private school settings is preferred
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners
- Familiarity with standardized testing procedures and assessment tools for early learners
- Ability to plan engaging lessons that incorporate tutoring strategies and hands-on activities for young learners
- Experience working with children requiring special education or early intervention services is highly desirable
