MISSION CONTRIBUTION:
To ensure the efficient and cost-effective operation and stewardship of the GGC and security of corporate assets through donor and customer relations, processing donated goods, and quality control in order to maximize profitability.
SUMMARY:
Under the direct supervision of the Team Leader Coach or Assistant Team Leader, and supported by the GoodPartner Coach and Job Coach, is responsible for providing world-class customer service, maintaining workplace and work area with cleanliness and orderliness, assist in the stocking of shelves and racks when required.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Ensures and provides open and honest communication that encourages that all team members do not place themselves, donors or customers in harm’s way.

Communicates and supports Goodwill’s drug-free workplace, strives for and maintains a positive work environment following Goodwill’s Core Values and Guiding Principles.

Understands represents Goodwill’s zero tolerance for harassment, substance abuse, workplace violence, failure to report medical incidents (work or non-work related), and theft or other related offenses.

Greet customers in a prompt, friendly, and courteous manner, ensuring 100% customer delight.

Maintains GGC sales floor, and dressing rooms free of dust, dirt, fallen merchandise, and clutter; removes hangers from cash wrap.

Keep Hanger Management System stocked with empty hangers retrieved from sales floor and cash wrap when assigned.

Assists floor recovery and cleaning as assigned.

Assists with hanging apparel racks, placing wares on sales floor and rotation of merchandise.

Adheres to all GGC and personnel policies and procedures; follows good safety practices including reporting safety hazards and injuries to the Team Leadership.

Attend in-service and related training as assigned by Team Leader Coach.

Performs other duties as assigned by Team Leader Coach
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with team leader, team members, customers and donors.

Ability to work within a team situation.

Ability to maintain a positive, friendly attitude and a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance.

Ability to follow verbal instructions
TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:

No experience needed.

Aptitude and willingness to learn donated goods business skills.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

May be asked, when transportation is available, to work evenings and weekends.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Able to stand, bend and reach.

Able to lift, push, pull, carry or otherwise move up to twenty-five (25) pounds with no support regularly. Over twenty-five (25) pounds request for additional team member assistance as needed.
