Middle-level Science and Social Studies Teacher
Overview:
We seek a team-oriented individual with excellent communication skills, and deep knowledge of strategies to engage students in learning. We desire a person with a strong social studies and science background who is proficient in utilizing technology in the classroom, and confident when instructing and interacting with students. They should be positive and willing to adjust to the needs of all students.
Responsibilities:
- Employ a wide variety of instructional methods for content delivery
- Utilize consistent communication with parents regarding student progress
- Provide clear and consistent classroom expectations
- Planning for differentiated instruction
- Organized to succeed in record keeping, managing materials, and sharing class content
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Arkansas teaching license with middle-level Social Studies
- Arkansas teaching license with middle-level school Science
Contract Terms:
Position: Middle Level Social Studies and Science Teacher
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: Certified Contract Salary Schedule
Start Date: 7/01/2026
Terms and Conditions:
The Secondary teacher agrees to fulfill the responsibilities outlined in the job description to the best of their ability. The teacher will adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and policies governing student discipline and confidentiality. The terms of this contract are subject to review and renewal on an annual basis.
