Duties
- Assist in the preparation and processing of food products according to established recipes and procedures, ensuring compliance with FDA regulations and HACCP standards.
- Operate manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently, including basic mechanical tasks and troubleshooting as needed.
- Maintain strict sanitation and cleanliness standards by following sanitation protocols to ensure a hygienic environment in accordance with CGMP guidelines.
- Package finished products accurately, labeling them properly for distribution while adhering to food safety practices.
- Conduct quality checks throughout the production process, utilizing basic math skills to verify measurements and weights.
- Follow all safety protocols related to food processing, machinery operation, and workplace safety to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
Skills
- Experience in food production or manufacturing environments preferred; familiarity with food processing plant operations is a plus.
- Strong understanding of sanitation procedures necessary for maintaining hygiene in a food processing environment.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for measurements, weights, and quality assessments.
- Ability to stand for long periods on hard surface.
Pay: $17.50 - $18.50 per hour
