Position Summary
This position works with head coaches to develop and implement strength and conditioning programs for the student-athletes on Doane athletic teams. Duties include, but are not limited to: weight room monitoring and maintenance for athletic strength training facilities, weight training and physical conditioning instruction, managing records, maintaining weight room schedules, and managing and maintaining the fitness center.

Minimum Required Qualifications
Requires a bachelor’s degree (equivalent experience considered) plus one year of experience working in an intercollegiate strength and conditioning program as a full-time assistant, graduate assistant, or intern.
- Experience in different forms and styles of strength training, sports-specific conditioning, flexibility, agility, and speed development with a solid understanding of sports nutrition.
- Proficient personal computer skills including electronic mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, and spreadsheets.
